It's unlikely a band takes as much from The Ronettes as they take from Weezer, but far more unlikely such a band springs out of the desert, border-city of El Paso, Texas. The Royalty, for the El Paso/Juarez metro, is just that: a pleasantly misplaced oddity. The Royalty will be performing at the 2010 Amigo Airsho both Saturday and Sunday, October 16th & 17th.

The Lusitania, an alt-country band from our very own El Paso, Texas, will be performing at the 2010 Amigo Airsho Sunday, October 17th. "The energetic band of five men play the gritty country built on a rock 'n' roll foundation that defines alt-country. Call it hipster country; the cowboy boots have been traded for Chuck Taylors, and you'll hear more similarities to, say, Wilco than to Keith Urban. That makes for raw drinking songs with emotional undertones."

Afro Taxi is an independent band from El Paso, TX with a funky beat and cool notes. They will be performing at the 2010 Amigo Airsho, Saturday October 16th.

From vintage to state of the art aircraft, come check out these amazing creatures! All branches of the military will be showcasing America's finest aircraft and military equipment. Civilian and commercial aircraft will also be on display. See these awesome machines up close and personal in the Static Aircraft Display area!

Tanks, helicopters, missiles and more. Thanks to the support of Ft. Bliss and Holloman Air Base, airsho enthusiasts are able to get up close and personal with the state of the art air power of our armed forces.
